Belle International is the largest retailer of ladies’ footwear in the PRC based on sales revenue.
Belle International offers a wide range of footwear products, which comprise of self-owned brands: Belle, Teenmix, Tata, Staccato, FATO, Senda, Basto, Haorenyuan, Millie’s, Jipi Japa, Joy & Peace, and distribution brands: Bata, ELLE, BCBG, Mephisto, Geox, Clarks, Merrel, Caterpillar, Sebago.
Belle was the No.1 ladies’ footwear brand in the PRC for the past eleven years in terms of sales revenue, while Teenmix, Tata, Staccato and Senda were ranked 2nd, 4th, 7th and 8th, respectively, for the year ended 31 Dec 2007.
Besides footwear business, Belle International is one of the largest retailers of sportswear in the PRC. Our sportswear distribution brand portfolio includes Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Puma, Mizuno, Li Ning, Kappa and Converse. We are distributing Levi’s (casual jeans) as well. Moreover, we have the ownership of Fila trademark in mainland, Hong Kong and Macau.
On 23 May 2007, Belle International was successfully listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX). Currently, Belle International is the largest China consumer stock in HKEX in terms of capitalization, which was HKD 60.86 billion as of 25 Mar 2008.
As of 31 Dec 2007, Belle International operated 6,090 self-owned stores in China mainland (excluding Millie’s and Senda), and 53 self-owned stores in Hong Kong and Macau.
Belle International achieved RMB 11.672 billion revenue in 2007, indicating 87% growth YoY, and RMB 1.979 billion net profit in 2007, 102.7% growth YoY.
The core brand Belle, one of the most famous footwear brands in China, was granted several awards, including ‘China Famous Trademark’, ‘China Famous Brand’, ‘King of China Leather Shoes’, ‘China Famous Leather Trademark’, etc.
